HIGHLIGHTS FROM RECENT YEARS

The first Champion from Wheatstone Lauren's litter: Wheatstone Presley (left) got his last CC in Orivesi 2010. His brother Power-Spice (right) has now 2 CC's and a Terrier Group placing, and Passion one CC.

Wheatstone Iolanda finished her International Champion title in Tallinn and got the Estonian Winner title 2010. She was also BOB, BOS Mil Mear Geragold Yankee Cowboy. Judge: Tiina Taulos.

In Turenki 2010, Terrier Group 1st to Wheatstone Odine with two new Champions Ocean and Orwill (pictured left). Breed judge Markku Kipinä, group judge Maija Mäkinen.

Tampere 2010, judge Sean Delmar, CC to Wheatstone Orwill and CACIB to Geragold Wheatstone Gold. Kennel Wheatstone had BOB breeder's group. Judge: Sean Delmar.

Duble Int show weekend Lahti/Vaasa 2009, were won by Ch Wheatstone Iolanda (2xBOB) and Ch Wheatstone Chess (2xBOS). Chess was also BIS2 veteran in Lahti. Judge in Lahti was Soile Bister and in Vaasa Dan Ericsson.

In the big Tampere Int show in 2009 kennel Wheatstone's breeder's group finished BIS2.

In Tallinn, Estonia in February 2009 Wheatstone Neon and Navarro both got their last CACIB's for their International Champion title. Wheatstone Neon (middle) was BOB and Navarro (left) BOS. In Keuruu 2009 Ch Wheatstone Chess, 11 years old, was BOB and BIS veteran, judged by Tanya Ahlman-Stockmari. Geragold Wheatstone Gold, got her last CC and became Finnish Champion. Kennel Wheatstone had BIS-breeder's group, judged by Paavo Mattila. Photos by Pirita Flink and Merja Juntunen.

Finnish Winner Show 2008, judged by Karl-Erik Johansson, Sweden. BOB was Ch Wheatstone Nadine. BOB breeder's group was kennel Wheatstone. Both Nadine and the breeder's group were among the finalists in the big ring.

During 2008-2009 the USA import Mil Mear Geragold Yankee Cowboy had a very successful start of his show career. He has achieved altogether 23 certificates under different judges, and also got the Nordic Junior Winner title (judged by John Walsh, Ireland), BOS at the club's speciality in October (judged by Cindy Vogels, USA) and finally, also Best In Terrier Group at Jyväskylä International Show in October (judged by Willian Browne-Cole, UK). "Grant" is handled by his co-owner Katja Päivinen and he is bred by Monica Kipp, Neil O'Sullivan and Gerard Thompson in USA.

Sweden arranged the World Show and circuit 2008. Kennel Wheatstone had the Best Breeder's group in Sweden at the World Terrier show. Wheatstone Nadine and Navarro both got the Swedish certificates. Males were judged by Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen and bitches by Ulla Lethenström.

Another Best Of Breed for Boogie in Oulu 2007. BOS to Ch Wheatstone Lauren, who often competed together with Bogart, but has done well also by her own. Breed judge Maija Mäkinen.

The kids from Grebenello Be Georgeous' and Wheatstone Iolanda's first litter started their adult show career in 2007. Wheatstone Nadine (left) got several BOB's and group placings both in Sweden and Finland. She was also BOB-junior at the Wheaten Breed Speciality 2007. Wheatstone Navarro (middle) and Wheatstone Neon (right) got several CC's.

Wheatstone Jive was kennel Wheatstone's 55th home-bred champion in Honkajoki 2007.

Tampere International 2006 Wheatstone Helle was BOB and Wheatstone Bogart BOS, judged by Ulla Lehtenström.

Great news from USA in 2006: Wheatstone Fairy Tale achieved her Champion title. "Roxy" is the first long-tailed Wheaten bitch, that has achieved the title. Her half-brother AM CH Wheatstone Backtrack was the first Wheaten all time, that got the title with his tail. Both are owned by Heriloom kennels, USA.

The first show success for Iolanda's kids: Wheatstone Nemo won the Terrier Group in a puppy show in Espoo 2006, judged by Colin Smith.

Some fine results from Poland in 2005: Wheatstone Joanna was BOB in Lódz, Kielce and at the Polish Terrier Club show. Joanna later achieved the International Championship title.

In Tampere 2005 "Lahja", Geragold Orla Finska Gift got her 3rd CC and became Finnish Champion. Judge:Michael Kirby from Ireland.
